The Global Village Project ( www.tgvp.org) is excited to host our next trivia event on February 22nd, 2012.
Proceeds from this event will go to help buy the land for a new education center in Tipitapa, Nicaragua. This is truly a community in need, and TGVP was blessed to get to visit Tipitapa last summer. The La Vina community in Tipitapa participated in TGVP’s backpack/school supply program last year. Their current space is getting small for their growing community. The La Vina program is active in Tipitapa and is currently providing the following services for this community:
-Adult Education
-Children Feed Center
-Children Care Center
-Equipping Workshops for Women – Skills and Motivational Courses
We will be back at Kirkwood Station Brewery (former Highlands Brewery) in Kirkwood, Missouri on Wednesday, February 22nd. Doors will open at 5pm and trivia will be from 6:00-7:45pm. Donation requested of $5 per person and this can be paid at the event.
